DESCRIPTION:Summer Seisiún 2025 Traditional Music Show – A Music Trail Through Ireland returns to entertain locals and visitors on Thursday evenings @7:30pm\, throughout July and August in the historic surroundings of The Yeats Building Sligo (July 7th\, 14th\, 21st and 28th & August 11th\, 18th\, and 25th) featuring CCÉ Fred Finn’s finest young musicians & dancers. \nComhaltas’ 2025 National Seisiún Programme provides a unique and authentic Irish traditional entertainment experience in 43 venues throughout Ireland this summer. One of the longest running summer shows of its kind-close to 40 years in existence-Sesiún attracts increasing numbers of visitors from overseas and nearer home with a show that captivates its audiences and welcomes participation. \nAfter the show of authentic Irish traditional music\, song\, dance and storytelling\, light refreshments are served during the short interval. The second part of the evening’s entertainment unfolds and guests are invited to join the Comhaltas Seisiún experience\, taking to the floor as they wish\, with a step\, tune\, song\, or story! \nJoin us in our Comhaltas Seisiún experience this Summer at The Yeats Building Sligo. \nAdmission is €10.00 and children are free.

Wipeout Festival strives to promote innovative artists\, giving them a platform both locally and nationally in the dynamic environment of the National Surf Centre\, Strandhill. \nTheir ambition is to create an artist friendly Festival based on their knowledge of emerging artists. DESCRIPTION:Summer Seisiún 2025 Traditional Music Show – A Music Trail Through Ireland returns to entertain locals and visitors on Thursday evenings @7:30pm\, throughout July and August in the historic surroundings of The Yeats Building Sligo (July 7th\, 14th\, 21st and 28th & August 11th\, 18th\, and 25th) featuring CCÉ Fred Finn’s finest young musicians & dancers. \nComhaltas’ 2025 National Seisiún Programme provides a unique and authentic Irish traditional entertainment experience in 43 venues throughout Ireland this summer. One of the longest running summer shows of its kind-close to 40 years in existence-Sesiún attracts increasing numbers of visitors from overseas and nearer home with a show that captivates its audiences and welcomes participation. \nAfter the show of authentic Irish traditional music\, song\, dance and storytelling\, light refreshments are served during the short interval. Tables float in and out from the facts and furnishings of their surrounds. The artist’s new works consolidate a variety of recurring themes: how to depict ‘the natural world’ and our relationship with it\, sensory encounters\, and digital space. \nThe exhibition will span four galleries in The Model\, and include several new large-scale oil paintings. A small number of recent works from international exhibitions will add to this overview of the artist’s practice.
