DESCRIPTION:The September IMA will feature performances from clarinettist Patrick Burke\, Meadhbh O’Rourke playing flute and piccolo\, and pianist Aileen Cahill. Amongst the pieces they will perform they will present the Irish premiere of Dancing with Shadows by composer Jane O’Leary. \nSligo Baroque Orchestra will perform tow movements from Haydn’s 1st cello concerto with student soloist Conor Flynn. And multi-talented vocalist\, composer and arranger Milo Cummins will perform selections of his own work. \nInformal Music Afternoons are produced by Sligo Baroque Orchestra in partnership with The Model and are supported by Sligo County Council. \nÓsta@TheModel will be open from 12 noon serving refreshments and a selection of lite bites.
