SUMMARY:Folk Families
DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss this fantastic night of talent that combines some of Sligo’s most musically accomplished families – the O’Dowds\, Grennans\, Carbonells and Kellys for an epic night of music!\n Having come from a hugely musical family\, Seamie O’Dowd is one of the most loved and respected musicians in this country. Seamie will be joined by his sons Rory & Stephen\, who over the last few years have evolved into a three guitar based performance that has attracted emphatic praise from significant musical quarters. \n Gerry Grennan is one of the most loved and respected musicians in Sligo. His talent and character have made him the amazing show man he is today. Having taught some of Sligo’s finest guitar players\, the apple surely doesn’t fall too far from the tree\, as he will be accompanied by his daughters Aoife and Amy in a fantastic blend of guitar and song. \n Roscommon born Cathy Jordan has led traditional group Dervish as front woman for nearly 30 years. She will be joined by Felip\, Maria and Deia Carbonell. Virtually born to the music stage thanks to their father and accomplished folk and latin singer-songwriter\, Felip Carbonell\, The Carbonell Sisters blend their voices in harmony while covering a range of original music and their unique take on some of their best loved songs. \n Jos\, Elsa\, Alex\, and Ted Kelly come from a musical family\, with all children in the family accomplished musicians. Having been described as being on the cutting edge of new Irish trad\, their music is influenced by a number of genres of music\, but very important among them is the traditional music of county Sligo. \n Each highly accomplished in their own right\, Elsa plays the Harp and Flute; Ted on the Banjo and Mandolin\, Jos on the Accordion and Alex on the Concertina. \n This night will be bursting with talent as it offers special performances from some of Sligo’s most cherished musical families. Celebrate with us the value of family tradition and connection in music\, in this unique night of entertainment.

SUMMARY:Blithe Spirit
DESCRIPTION:Noël Coward’s Blithe Spirit is a tug-of-love comedy with a difference: one of the lovers is a ghost! Novelist Charles\, hoping to gather material for his next book\, asks medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance in his house. It works too well when his deceased first wife\, Elvira\, returns from the other side. Charles finds himself face-to-face with Elvira who playfully appears only to him\, much to the dismay of his second wife Ruth. And Elvira isn’t returning to the underworld until she sorts out some unfinished business! Take one husband\, two feuding wives\, add a sprinkling of mischief\, and things get thoroughly out of hand!”

SUMMARY:Indigestion
DESCRIPTION:This play has been described as sensitive\, hilarious\, intelligent\, absolutely compelling and refreshingly forthright. A man\, whose name we never hear\, tells us his story of a life\, always slightly out of his control…\n The madness of a simple rural man… a man shipped off to London at the age of 17…who goes through bouts of depression\, obesity and anger issues… finds and loses love\, comes back to Ireland to more misfortune and mayhem and yet there is HOPE. This is a story full of hope\, where laughter and tears join hands and race us through fifty years of a life\, not much different to our own. This is Seamus O’Rourke doing what he does best\, storytelling. \n Duration: one hour
