The Coney Island Adventure Run on 28 June 2025 is a unique 10 mile (15km) race across the causeway to Coney Island, Co. Sligo and back. There is also a 10 mile non-competitive run/walk. Both events start from Sligo Rugby Club, Strandhill.
This is a fundraising event, proceeds toward Youth Development facilities at Sligo Rugby Club.

10 Mile Walk – all ages permitted. Early turn-back is allowed
Starting from Sligo Rugby Club, Strandhill

1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Men & Women in 10 Mile Run
1st Place Men & Women (Over 55)
Spot prizes – winners selected from all participants
Competitive runners must pass the timing check at the turn-around point
Event starts:
Run starts Saturday 28th June at 12pm (midday)
Walk starts 1 hour earlier at 11am

Pick up at Sligo Rugby Club
Friday 6:30-8pm
Registration & payment can taken the day cash or card but note the times:
10am to 10:40am for the walk
11am to 11:40am for the run
Please arrive early, as registration will close 20 minutes before each event to give our volunteers time to process details in the event computer

Prize ceremony to follow completion of the run
