Atlantic Technological University

Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is a driving force in higher education across the west and northwest of Ireland, with nine campuses serving this diverse and dynamic region. Among these, ATU Sligo and ATU St. Angela’s are pivotal hubs for education, research, and innovation in Sligo.

Sligo College of Further Education

Sligo College of Further Education is the largest provider of Further Education in the North West, offering a diverse range of courses for Post Leaving Certificate and mature students.

North Connaught College

North Connaught College offers QQI Level 5 and Level 6 Post Leaving Certificate Courses and offers VTOS (the Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme). The College has many links with the local community and provides training for many of the local businesses and local authorities. It also provides a comprehensive range of evening classes.

Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board

The Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB is an important Regional Training Centre, training more than 2,200 people every year in a wide range of programmes from Business, Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction to IT, Media, Healthcare and Hospitality & Catering.
