Have Your Say on Ireland’s Enterprise Future: Enterprise 2035
The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment has launched a public consultation on Enterprise 2035, a new national strategy that will guide enterprise growth, competitiveness and job creation over the coming decade. The consultation is seeking views on how Ireland can build a more innovative, sustainable, resilient and regionally balanced economy by 2035.
County Sligo stakeholders are being invited to help shape Ireland’s next national enterprise strategy.
To support the preparation of a submission from County Sligo, a short questionnaire has been developed to gather local perspectives from businesses, employers, entrepreneurs, representative organisations and other interested stakeholders.
The decisions taken through Enterprise 2035 will influence how Ireland responds to major economic trends, including digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability requirements, changing trade patterns, skills needs and competition for investment and talent. The strategy will also examine how enterprise policy can support productivity, innovation and regional economic development in the years ahead.
For Sligo, this consultation provides an important opportunity to ensure that the needs and ambitions of our region are reflected in national policy. As a county with a strong enterprise base, growing innovation capacity and significant potential for future investment, it is important that local voices contribute to the national conversation.
