Culture Night returns to Sligo on Friday 18 September 2026, with a packed programme of free arts and cultural events taking place across Sligo town and county.
This year’s programme brings together artists, cultural organisations, community groups and venues for an evening of music, theatre, dance, visual art, literature, workshops, exhibitions and live performance – with something for all ages.
Highlights include Culture Blast: Everything is Connected at The Model, Baroque Brilliance at the Hawk’s Well Theatre, a special Culture Night programme at the Yeats Society, and events taking place in venues and communities throughout County Sligo.
From exhibitions and performances to opportunities to sing, dance, make, create and take part, Culture Night is an invitation to experience Sligo’s cultural life – completely free of charge.
