Head to Sligo Folk Park on the 15th September for their first annual Harvest Festival. Lots of fun to be had for all age groups. Music will be provided by the award-winning Ryan Sheridan and Friends. Fred the Party Professor and the Magic Circus will be on site to entertain kids and adults alike.
Try your hand at pottery making with Shauna the Pottery Lady, there will be two Samba Drumming Workshops for the adventurous music makers along with demonstrations of traditional Boxty making followed with the requisite taste test.
A Harvest Festival would not be complete without Harvest Games so be sure to join in on the Tug of War, Turf Footing, Penalty Shoot Out and other games on the day. All of the above activities are included in the entry price.
There will also be Pony Rides, Build a Bear Workshop, American BBQ Style ‘pig on a spit’, other food and craft stalls on the day. The Harvest Festival will run between 2pm and 5pm.
