The September IMA will feature performances from clarinettist Patrick Burke, Meadhbh O’Rourke playing flute and piccolo, and pianist Aileen Cahill. Amongst the pieces they will perform they will present the Irish premiere of Dancing with Shadows by composer Jane O’Leary.
Sligo Baroque Orchestra will perform tow movements from Haydn’s 1st cello concerto with student soloist Conor Flynn. And multi-talented vocalist, composer and arranger Milo Cummins will perform selections of his own work.
Informal Music Afternoons are produced by Sligo Baroque Orchestra in partnership with The Model and are supported by Sligo County Council.
Ósta@TheModel will be open from 12 noon serving refreshments and a selection of lite bites. The concerts start at 1pm, but we recommend coming at 12.30pm so you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine from the wonderful café prior.
