Sligo BID have partnered up with Sligo On Ice to offer Sensory Skating options on Tuesdays at 6pm and Sundays at 10am, starting from Tuesday 18th November in the ice rink in Queen Maeve Square. This will help to offer Christmas fun to all in Sligo town.
The sensory skating sessions will offer reduced numbers, low lights and low sounds. The ice rink can also accommodate manual wheelchair skaters.
This initiative is part of the Sligo Town Night Time Economy Pilot. The pilot is funded through the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport and delivered in partnership by Sligo BID and Sligo County Council.
