Shane Beirne & Friends take to the stage at the Queen Maeve Festival on Friday 3rd May in Queen Maeve Square right in the heart of beautiful Sligo town.
Hailing from Carrick-on-Shannon and playing with fantastic musicians from Sligo and the west of Ireland, Shane made his debut at Electric Picnic in 2022.
He has been grafting his way through the music industry since the age of 11, teaching himself both guitar and piano. Over the last 2 years, he’s really made a name for himself, writing with Pa Sheehy of Walking on Cars fame and various successful Irish acts as well going viral which kickstarted his music career in 2018 on various different media outlets.
Meetings with Atlantic Records from NYC and then eventually signing with Hasard Records based in Switzerland this year. He spent time in Switzerland and Europe where he recorded and produced his first debut single ‘Young Love’.
Shane is heavily influenced by artists such as Dermot Kennedy, Noah Kahan, and Sam Fender which all resonate with the Irish singer/songwriter who hopes to bring out more of his exciting and thrilling soul/pop music, we can expect a tremendous show from him in Sligo this year at the Queen Maeve Festival.
