Set along the rugged coastline of County Sligo, the Sligo Pumpkin Patch offers a unique autumn adventure where rolling green fields meet the Wild Atlantic Way. This family‑run patch at Dunmoran Strand blends seaside scenery, fresh Atlantic air and thousands of colourful pumpkins creating an unforgettable seasonal day out for families, friends and little explorers.
Nestled on a green field right beside the Atlantic Ocean, the patch enjoys sweeping coastal views with Benbulben rising in the distance. It’s one of Ireland’s most scenic pumpkin‑picking spots, offering a relaxed rural atmosphere perfect for an autumn outing.
The Sligo Pumpkin Patch is open for two weekends only:
- Saturday & Sunday, 17–18 October
- Saturday & Sunday, 24–25 October
- ⏰ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The field is bursting with pumpkins of every shape and size — ideal for carving, cooking or decorating your home for the season.
Spend a relaxed afternoon wandering the patch, meeting friendly farm animals and enjoying warm hot chocolate from the refreshment stand. Allow around two hours per visit — plenty of time to explore, pick your pumpkins and soak up the seaside atmosphere.
