Sligo Summer Festival brings two vibrant days of music, entertainment and family fun to Queen Maeve Square this August, transforming the heart of Sligo into a lively celebration of summer.
On Friday 7 August, the festival kicks off with an energetic over‑18s concert featuring Tumbling Paddies, one of Ireland’s most popular live acts known for their high‑tempo, feel‑good performances.
The fun continues on Saturday 8 August with a Family Fun Day from 12pm–4pm. This free daytime event includes Ireland’s largest slide, family entertainment, activities and plenty of excitement for all ages.
On Saturday evening, the square comes alive again for an over‑18s concert with Qween, a renowned Queen tribute act delivering iconic hits and big‑stage energy.
An early‑bird weekend ticket is available for €10, offering great value for two nights of live music. More acts will be announced as the festival approaches.
