As part of the Coleman Traditional Festival 2026, join us for a special Summer Seisiún at the beautiful Coleman Cottage, Mount Irwin, the birthplace of the legendary fiddle master Michael Coleman.
Set against the backdrop of the traditional thatched cottage, this relaxed afternoon gathering celebrates the very heart of Irish traditional music. Musicians, singers, dancers and listeners are all warmly welcome to come together for an open-air session in one of the most historic locations in Irish traditional music.
Bring your instrument, your voice, or simply your love of traditional music and enjoy an afternoon of tunes, songs, stories and community in the place where one of Ireland’s greatest musical legacies began. The Coleman Cottage offers a unique glimpse into rural Irish life of the early twentieth century, making it the perfect setting to conclude the festival in true traditional style.
