Join us for a literary evening as we celebrate the incredible success of Writers from the West. Three of the eight nominees in the Newcomer of the Year category of the 2025 An Post Book awards live in Sligo. Caragh Maxwell, Elaine Garvey and Seán Farrell will discuss their nominated books Sugartown, The Wardrobe Department and Frogs for Watchdogs.
Michael Harding will also read from and discuss his book Midwinter, which was nominated for Best Irish Published Book of the Year. Liber bookshop, nominated for Book Shop of the Year, will be on hand to sell books and give some great book suggestions.
