Sligo Surf Experience
Visit Strandhill Beach and catch the wave of your life with one of Ireland’s top surf schools. Sligo Surf Experience is run by Irish national champion Seamus Mc Goldrick, a local surf pioneer. Seamus and his team of Irish Surfing instructors will teach you the ABCs of surfing in a fun, enjoyable environment. All our surf lessons are beginner-friendly.
Your surf instructor will safely guide you through your 2.5-hour surf experience. Our fantastic location in the National Surf Centre allows us to provide the top surf experiences in Ireland. Hire of all necessary surfing equipment is included in the price as well as access to changing rooms and warm showers.
The normal surf lessons times are 9 am, 10.45 am and 12.30 pm (subject to change – check website for surf lessons schedule)
Their five day summer camps run each week in June, July and August for U16s, teens and adults
All surf camps are personally supervised by Sligo Surf Experience head coach Seamus McGoldrick. The Ocean Warrior camp includes an Ocean Warrior surf booking, surfing and bodyboarding, beach games, environmental education, water safety and ocean awareness.
