About Tubbercurry

Tubbercurry is a vibrant and historic town right in the heart of beautiful south Sligo. You will experience fantastic festivals throughout the year including the South Sligo Summer School Festival of Irish traditional music and one of the best days out of the year at the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day event.

It is a hub of traditional music and you will enjoy the lovely walks and trails in the area. The 9 hole golf course is a real gem and this fantastic club features a brilliant simulator, a 9 hole practice course (from 2025 onwards) and excellent practice facilities.

It’s name in Irish is Tobar an Choire which means ‘The Well of the Rock’.
