Juniper is located on the Newpark Estate. The house was built in 1780 and the Kitchin family have lived at Newpark since 1912. Newpark has always been home to interesting events including heritage events, equestrian events, charity events, concerts, parties and the gardens are open as part of Sligo’s Secret Gardens

Juniper consists of three unique barns, all original stone barns with exposed wooden rafters and traditional slate roofs.

The Turf Barn is located in the Kitchen Yard and ideal for ceremonies. The Wood Barn is a short stroll through the gardens and is located in the Georgian courtyard. Linked to the Wood Barn is The Swallow Barn where you can enjoy evening activities.

The grounds were also used as a setting for the film ‘Jimmy’s Hall’. Now the barns are used for weddings, festivals, concerts, private parties and filming.
