The villages of Grange and Drumcliff are close by, with restaurants, traditional Irish pubs and a variety of shops. One of Ireland’s oldest pubs, Ellens is three minutes’ drive away. Sligo town is 20 minutes’ drive away.

Nearby attractions include horse riding, fishing, golfing and cycling, these can be arranged if requested. The Cloonagh Cliffs are a short walk away and Raugly Pier is five minutes’ drive from the Ocean Heights. On the Wild Atlantic Way, Streedagh Beach is ten minutes’ drive away.

Rosses Point is a gorgeous seaside village just a few minutes away from Sligo town centre. This stunning coastal location is framed by the majestic Benbulben Mountain one one side and Sligo Bay and Knocknarea Mountain on the other. In Irish it is called An Ros which means ‘wooded headland’.

The world class beach offers an amazing walk and you can relax at the Hot Box Spa at the pier before taking a cold dip in the Atlantic Ocean. There are lovely cafes and restaurants too.

County Sligo Golf Club is a world renowned links championship links course and is a remarkable place for golfers of any ability. It hosts the prestigious West of Ireland Championship every year and past winners include Padraig Harrington, Harry Diamond and Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy.
