What you will experience
You will experience the amazing natural beauty of South Sligo in a fun way with experienced, friendly and professional instructors. You will see and experience nature both on the water and on land.
Wild Wet Adventures introduce people to the many benefits, both physical and mental, to be gained through taking part in the outdoor activities provided in stunning location’s in south Sligo. All Instructors are fully trained and up to date with best practices in kayaking, canoeing, Stand up paddle boarding (SUP).
They also offer land base activities of Hillwalking, Walking, bush craft, Archery and orienteering, trail runs and team building can also be organised. Any of the above activities can be tailored to suit as part of prearranged trip’s or as an introduction to the activity. Activities are offered in a fun environment, but with safety paramount at all times. Wild Wet Adventures offers on the water tuition on a one-to-one basis, or to families or groups. They also offer singles, couples or group’s, guided walks locally and throughout the Sligo region.

About Ballymote
Ballymote is an historic market town in gorgeous south Sligo. The Norman Castle dominates the town still to this day and it is open for you to explore and have a look around. Ballymote is home to The White Hag brewery who now offer Taproom Tours along with running their world famous Hagstravaganza beer festival.
The founder of Glasgow Celtic was born in Ballymote (Brother Walfrid) and it is a hive of traditional Irish music with famous musicians such as Paddy Killoran hailing from the area. You can enjoy some lovely walking trails in the area. The train station services both Sligo and Dublin and there is a great local link bus service too.
